Predictive Maintenance: Predictive maintenance involves monitoring equipment conditions and analyzing data to predict failures before they occur. This proactive approach reduces downtime, lowers maintenance costs, and improves overall equipment efficiency and reliability.

Key Techniques:

  • Vibration Analysis: Monitors machine vibration frequency and amplitude to detect issues such as imbalance, misalignment, and bearing wear. Deviations from normal vibration patterns provide early warnings of potential failures.
  • Thermography: Uses infrared cameras to detect temperature variations in electrical and mechanical components. Overheating may indicate loose connections, overloads, poor lubrication, or friction in rotating machinery.
  • Oil Analysis: Examines lubricants for contaminants, metal particles, and viscosity changes. Oil condition reflects the wear state of gears, bearings, and hydraulic systems, helping predict equipment degradation.
