Hydraulic Actuators: Hydraulic actuators convert hydraulic pressure into mechanical motion, providing high force and precise control in industrial and mobile equipment. There are two main types: linear and rotary actuators.

Linear Hydraulic Actuators: Also known as hydraulic cylinders, these use pressurized fluid to move a piston in a straight line, enabling pushing, pulling, lifting, and positioning tasks. They are available in two configurations:

  • Single-Acting Cylinders: Fluid pressure is applied in one direction, with a spring or external force returning the piston.
  • Double-Acting Cylinders: Fluid pressure is applied in both directions, allowing controlled extension and retraction.

Rotary Hydraulic Actuators: These convert hydraulic pressure into rotational motion, commonly used for turning, clamping, and positioning tasks. They operate using gears, vanes, or pistons to generate torque, making them suitable for heavy-duty machinery and industrial automation.

Applications: Hydraulic actuators are widely used in construction machinery, manufacturing systems, and industrial automation where high force, durability, and precise control are required.
